When you arrive in Tori on May 14, head to the registration tent next to Tori Church. You’ll recognize it by the yellow Rattafest flags flying nearby. There, you can collect your wristbands, route maps, and other essentials using your ticket.

If you are coming to Rattafest campsite with a caravan or campervan, plan to stay overnight in your car, or want to park your car in the campsite, we recommend driving directly to the Soomaa Holiday Village on Friday. There is also a mandate point there, where you can pick up wristbands, trail maps, and other necessities.

From Soomaa Holiday Village, you can then cycle towards Tori, where the starting point is located. This will help us avoid major traffic jams around Tori.

If you’re arriving by car, you can leave your vehicle in the supervised car park opposite Tori Church. You can collect your car on Sunday, at the end of the route.

If you wish to bring a support vehicle to the campsite, you’ll need a vehicle overnight stay ticket, which also serves as a parking permit. You can purchase the ticket through Piletitasku under the Rattafest event, in the “Rattafest Accommodation” section.

Parking in the car park opposite Tori Church costs an additional €15, payable in cash on site. You will then be given a parking permit, which must be clearly displayed on your dashboard.

In some sections of the route, support vehicles are prohibited. This may be because there is no suitable road for cars or because the roads are too narrow to ensure the safety of participants. To keep everyone safe, we do not allow cars to pass through these sections. All restricted areas are clearly marked on the Rattafest route map.

P.S. To drive along the route as a support vehicle and help our safety team identify your vehicle as an official Rattafest support vehicle, we ask you, if possible, to collect a support vehicle identification sign from the registration point in Tori on Friday. This sign must be placed in a clearly visible position on your car’s dashboard.

For a caravan, you will need to purchase an additional caravan site at the campsite Accomodation page. The caravan ticket includes electricity and access to sanitary facilities. Cars towing caravans are also covered by the caravan ticket.

Those staying overnight in their vehicles at the campsite can arrive directly at Soomaa Holiday Village as early as Friday morning. The campsite opens at 9:00 AM.Once you have parked your vehicle, you’ll need to cycle towards the starting point in Tori. There, you’ll find the Tori registration point, where you can collect your wristbands and route map. Registration is open from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM. 

P.S. If you arrive at the Tori registration point after 1:30 PM, you’ll only be able to collect your wristband and route map once you reach the Soomaa Holiday Village campsite.

The campsite opens on May 14 at 9:00 AM. As the campsite is still being set up on Thursday, we kindly ask for your understanding and request that you arrive only after the campsite officially opens on Friday.

Upon arrival at Soomaa Holiday Village, your ticket will be checked, and you will receive your wristband and route map.

Medical staff are available 24/7, both along the route and at the campsite. If an accident occurs on the route, you can report it immediately by calling the Rattafest emergency number, and medical staff will come to your location.Medical staff will also be present at major rest stops, such as the lunch camp. These locations will be marked on the Rattafest route map.

Wearing a helmet is mandatory for those under 16 years of age according to Estonian law. However, we strongly recommend that everyone wear a helmet to avoid injuries and ensure a safe festival experience.

The trail is marked with appropriate signs. You will also receive a trail map at the starting point, which shows the trail with all the stopping points and additional information. Google offline map will also appear on our website before the event and will be sent to your email so you can see where you are on the course on your phone if you wish.

A very important question! At Rattafest, everyone sets their own pace. This isn’t a race, but a relaxed journey through the beautiful nature of Soomaa, with cultural experiences, concerts, and plenty of other exciting things to enjoy along the way.The route is manageable for everyone, so there’s no need to rush. We recommend taking a break whenever you feel you need one and making sure to drink plenty of water.Our motto is: “Find your own rhythm!”

In that case, please call the Rattafest emergency number, and we’ll help you find your way back to the route.A Google Maps offline map will be available on our website before the event, and we’ll also email it to all participants. The offline map is the quickest way to determine your current location and see where the route runs.

Hawaii Express bike assistance is available along the route. They’ll come to you and help fix your bike. If your bike is hopelessly broken, our support team will pick you up along the route.It’s important that you are on the designated route when requesting assistance.

Pre-registration starts in spring

If you’re driving to the starting point in Tori, look for the van. It will collect all larger bags and transport them to Soomaa Holiday Village.From 4:00 PM on May 14, you can collect your bags from the campsite at Soomaa Holiday Village and unpack.

The luggage van in Tori is available from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. After that, all bags will be transported to Soomaa Holiday Village.The luggage van at Soomaa Holiday Village will be open for collection from 4:00 PM.

On the day the event finishes in Tori, the luggage van will be available from 3:00 PM.

The glamping units have electricity for charging your phone, but they are not insulated or heated. As spring weather can be unpredictable, we recommend bringing an extra-warm sleeping bag. The glamping units are equipped with beds and bed linen, and access to washing facilities in the designated wash area is included in the price.

We recommend bringing a camping lantern or a flashlight.

There are saunas on site, which are included in the price, and there is also a showering area. The cost of washing is €5. Please bring cash for this.

All well-behaved dogs are welcome to join us on this hike. It is important that the dog is leashed and securely attached. We ask that you keep your pet on a leash at the campsite and clean up after them to maintain cleanliness.

Gluten-free food options are very limited, so we recommend bringing your own food.For those who are lactose intolerant: the morning porridge contains lactose, while the evening soup is lactose-free (if you ask for it to be served without sour cream).

You are allowed to bring your own food/snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Grilling is only allowed in designated areas. However, we ask that you be careful and follow fire safety regulations.

We ask you to follow various tips on how to make staying in a tent as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We recommend placing a thermal blanket under the mattresses on the tent floor and, if possible, choosing warmer sleeping bags and warm underwear. We also strongly recommend that your tent has an additional cover, which most new tents already have, or the single wall of the tent is already sufficiently moisture-proof. A dry tent is the one that will keep you warm the best.

In the evening we will make a fire in the campsite so that everyone can warm up. Please still bring warm clothes for the evening, because when your muscles cool down, your body may feel colder. A good tip is to bring rubber boots and warm socks from home, so your feet will be protected from moisture in the evening and will definitely be warm. If the weather is warm during the day, the moisture will sink to the ground by evening and the grass may be wet. In addition, you can go to the sauna in the evening to get your body pleasantly steamed.
